Container Rentals for the LEAP District in Lebanon, Indiana

Bolted Box is a family-owned Indiana container company located about 30 minutes from the LEAP Research and Innovation District. We rent one-trip storage and office containers to general contractors and subcontractors working on projects in Lebanon, Whitestown, and the rest of Boone County.

If you are running work in the LEAP corridor, you already know what a container is and what you need. The real question is who can get one there quickly, keep the schedule you set, invoice it correctly, and answer the phone when something changes. That is the part we built this company around, and being the closest container supplier to the area is what makes it possible.

Why contractors in Lebanon call us

Five things separate a local container company from a national one on a project this size.

Closest supplier to the siteOur yard is roughly a 30 minute drive from the LEAP District. Shorter runs mean we can fit more moves into a day and react faster when your schedule shifts.
Same-day quotes, every timeCall or email and you get pricing back the same day from a person who knows the account, not a ticket number and a callback next week.
Deliveries and pickups that happenWhen we schedule a drop or a pickup, that is the date. Our own trucks, our own trailers, and our own drivers, so nothing depends on a third-party carrier.
Invoices your AP team can processCorrect amounts, on the right cycle, with your PO number on them, sent where your accounts payable department needs them. No surprise line items to dispute.
A matching, one-trip fleetEvery rental container we own is a one-trip unit. Order ten and they look like a set, which matters when your site is visible to a client.
No-fee pricing, price guaranteedNo fuel surcharges, no property fees, no excise taxes. If you find a lower all-in rate on the same product, we will match it.

About 30 minutes from our yard to your site

We are based at 4900 Robison Road on the northwest side of Indianapolis, which puts the LEAP District roughly half an hour away. That is not a marketing detail, it is the reason we can turn around a request that a company dispatching from another state or another metro simply cannot.

The star is our yard. The LEAP District sits just up I-65 from us, well inside our daily delivery range and closer to us than to any container yard in Lafayette.

Our containers are stocked in Indiana year round. We are not a broker that takes your money and then sources a box from out of state, and we are not dispatching a driver from three hours away who can only fit you in on a Thursday.

Rental containers available in Lebanon

The mix here skews heavily toward 40 ft units. For storage, the 40 gives you more than double the space of a 20 for twenty dollars more per cycle, so on a multi-unit order the math almost always favors the bigger box. Offices come down to how many people work out of them.

Ask UsMulti-unit ordersLet’s talkbulk & long-term pricingPublished rates above are our standard rates. Multi-unit and long-duration projects are quoted case by case, and we do discount them.

Published rates are the starting point, not the final number.

Most work at the LEAP District runs long and takes several containers at once. Both of those change the math. We regularly discount multi-unit orders and extended-duration rentals, and we have done it for contractors already working on this project. Send us the count and the expected duration and we will price it properly.

Rental rates at a glance

Every rate below is billed on a 28-day cycle with no minimum rental term. Delivery and pickup are quoted separately per trip and shown clearly on your quote before you accept anything.

Container Best for Per 28 days
40′ Storage High Cube General jobsite storage $185
40′ Office High Cube Full field office, meetings $850
20′ Office One or two people on site $725
20′ Storage Small scopes, tight footprints $165
40′ Office/Storage Combo Office plus secure storage in one $775

What you will not see added later: fuel surcharges, property fees, or excise taxes. Those are line items other companies use to make a headline rate look lower than it is. Your pickup charge is also locked in when you order, so it does not creep upward because the pickup happens months from now.

What being the closest supplier actually gets you

Proximity sounds like a soft advantage until your schedule moves. Here is what it looks like in practice on a project in Lebanon.

  • Shorter round trips. A 30 minute run instead of a two hour one means our drivers can do more moves in a day, so getting you on the schedule is easier.
  • Same-day quotes, always. Not a promise about business days. You ask, you get pricing that day.
  • A person answers. You get one point of contact who knows your account, your PO, and where your containers are sitting.
  • We work around your access window. Controlled sites have check-in procedures, escorts, and hours. We plan deliveries around them instead of showing up and hoping.
  • Changes are absorbed, not escalated. Need a unit moved across the site, swapped, or added? That is a phone call, not a change order that takes a week to process.

Our truck, our trailer, our driver. Nothing about your delivery date depends on a third-party carrier’s schedule.

We cannot promise next-day delivery to everyone, because we are busy enough that it would not be true. What we can promise is a same-day quote, a delivery scheduled as fast as we can honestly do it, and a date that holds once we give it to you.

Billing that does not create work for your AP department

This is the part nobody advertises and everybody deals with. On a large project you are routing vendor invoices through accounts payable, matching them against purchase orders, and often sending them into an automated mailbox that rejects anything formatted wrong. A container is a small line item in your budget, and it should never take more time to pay for than it does to use.

  • Your PO number goes on the invoice. Give it to us at order time and it appears where your system expects it.
  • Invoices go where you tell us. Automated AP mailbox, a specific coordinator, a portal, whatever your process requires.
  • Predictable 28-day cycles. You know what is coming and when, for the life of the rental.
  • The amount matches the quote. Delivery and pickup are quoted per trip up front and billed as quoted.
  • Corrections happen fast. If something is wrong, you call one number and it gets fixed, rather than opening a case.

Every rental carries an insurance requirement, which you satisfy either by sending a certificate of insurance, which costs a company already carrying coverage nothing, or by taking our loss damage waiver. The waiver amount varies by container size and type, and we will tell you exactly what it is on your quote.

Ten containers that look like they belong together

Contractors working on this project are not renting one box. Several of the companies we work with in the LEAP corridor have taken more than ten units apiece across storage and offices. At that quantity, consistency stops being cosmetic.

Every container we rent is a one-trip unit, which means it made a single voyage from the factory before entering our fleet. They are uniform in color and condition, the doors open without a pry bar, the seals are close to new, and the high cube 40s give you an extra foot of interior height. Our office containers are all new one-trip builds averaging less than a year old, while a lot of national fleets are still renting out offices that have been in service for ten or fifteen years.

The difference is not subtle. Two of our one-trip 40s sitting beside a typical used rental container: spray paint, rust, and no lock box.

Why it matters on a high-visibility site: your containers sit in the open where owners, inspectors, and clients walk past them. A row of matched beige one-trip boxes reads as a well-run operation. A mismatched row of rusted units, some blue, some faded orange, reads as something else.

That consistency holds at any quantity. The photo at the top of this page is one customer’s site with fifteen of our containers on it. Here are four more of our 40s on another site, lined up door to door.

Front view of the double doors of four matching Bolted Box 40 ft one-trip storage containers lined up on a single site

Four matched 40 ft one-trips on a single site, lined up door to door.

We do not rent used containers at all. The reasoning is simple: if a box is going to represent your company on site for the next two years, it should not be the cheapest thing on the lot.

Local supplier versus national supplier, honestly

National companies are not bad at everything. They have scale, they cover every market, and if you need containers in eleven states at once they can do that and we cannot. On a single project in Boone County, though, the tradeoffs run the other way.

What matters Large national provider Bolted Box
Quote speed Often several days, routed through a regional desk Same day, from the person handling your account
Distance to site Depends on which branch has stock About 30 minutes from our yard
Who delivers Frequently a contracted third-party carrier Our trucks, our trailers, our drivers
Rate structure Headline rate plus fuel, property, and excise line items One all-in rate, no added fees
Office unit age Commonly 10 to 15 years in service New one-trip builds, averaging under a year old
Making a change Ticket, queue, callback One phone call to someone who knows the job
Multi-state coverage Yes, nationwide Indiana only, which is the point

If your project spans states, use a national provider. If your project is in Lebanon, use the company that is half an hour up the road and answers the phone.

Choosing the right unit for the scope

You have done this before, so this is short.

  • 40′ storage high cube: the default. Roughly 2,694 cubic feet, extra interior height, and only twenty dollars a cycle more than the 20. Use it for materials, tools, and anything you need out of the weather and locked.
  • 40′ office high cube: a real field office. Two man doors, four windows, climate control, and enough power and lighting to run a team and hold a meeting.
  • 20′ office: a one or two person office for a super or a QC lead who needs a desk, heat, and a door that locks.
  • 20′ storage: when the assigned footprint genuinely will not take a 40, or when a crew needs a small dedicated cache close to their work area.
  • 40′ office/storage combo: office and secure storage sharing a single 40 ft footprint. Less common on projects this size, but efficient when laydown space is assigned per trade.

A 40 ft one-trip set on a gravel jobsite. Easy open doors and a welded steel lock box come standard on every storage unit we rent.

We supply the container itself. Power hookup, whether that is land power to the breaker box or a generator, is arranged on your end, and our office container power requirements page covers exactly what the units need. Sites with tighter access should also review our delivery site requirements, though on a site the size of the LEAP District access is rarely the constraint.

You have probably rented from this family before

Matthew Claymon co-founded Pac-Van here in Indianapolis in 1993 and grew it to more than 10,000 units across 40 states before it became part of United Rentals. There are still boxes in the field with the old Pac-Van name on the side. He then rebuilt Tyson Onsite, which was acquired by WillScot.

Bolted Box is the third company, started with his son Connor, and this time the plan is deliberately different. No branch network, no regional desk, no fee structure engineered to make a quote look cheaper than the invoice. One state, one fleet of one-trip containers, and the level of service that is only possible when the owners are the people you are actually talking to.

That history is why we know what large contractors need from a container vendor, and why we built the billing, the fleet consistency, and the response times around it rather than treating them as afterthoughts.

How ordering works

  • Quote first. Send the container types, the count, the site, and the expected duration. Pricing comes back the same day, including delivery and pickup per trip.
  • You accept. Digital quote by text and email, signed from your phone. Send us the PO number here and it flows onto every invoice.
  • Delivery gets scheduled. We confirm the date with you in advance, and our driver calls when he’s on the way. Door direction is chosen before we roll, so the box lands the way you want it.
  • Billing runs on 28-day cycles. No minimum term and no early termination charge. You are billed until you tell us to pick up.
  • Changes are easy. Add units, swap sizes, or relocate a box on site as phases move. Call and we handle it.
  • Pickup on request. At the rate locked in when you ordered.

One note on who we rent to: rentals are for companies only. We do sell containers to individuals, but every rental agreement is commercial.

Common questions from contractors in Lebanon

How far are you from the LEAP District?

Our yard is on the northwest side of Indianapolis at 4900 Robison Road, roughly 30 minutes from Lebanon. We believe we are the closest container rental company to the project.

Do you work with contractors on the LEAP project already?

Yes. We rent storage and office containers to general contractors and subcontractors working on the project, several of whom have taken more than ten units apiece.

Can you handle a bulk order of ten or more containers?

Yes, and that is where it makes the most sense to call rather than order online. Multi-unit orders and long-duration rentals are priced case by case and we discount them.

Are there extra fees on top of the rental rate?

No fuel surcharges, no property fees, and no excise taxes. Delivery and pickup are separate charges per trip, quoted before you accept, and the pickup rate is locked at order time. Sales tax applies as required by law.

How quickly can you deliver?

Quotes go out the same day and delivery is scheduled as soon as we can get there, which being 30 minutes away is usually very fast. You get 48-hour notice before the drop. We do not make blanket next-day promises we cannot keep for everyone.

Are your rental containers used?

Never. Every container we rent is a one-trip unit, and every office is a new one-trip build averaging under a year old. We sell used containers, but we do not rent them.

Do you rent to individuals?

Rentals are commercial only. Individuals can purchase containers from us.

Do you serve the rest of Boone County?

Yes, and all of Indiana. Lebanon, Whitestown, Zionsville, Advance, Thorntown, and Jamestown are all well within our regular service area.
